This past Spring Break we decided to go to the Gulf Shores as a family. It is about the only time we can get away without having to miss sports. The boys were so excited and were really looking forward to it once we told them we were going to take them to the beach. We decided it would be a lot cheaper to drive to we set off in the Pella mini van and headed for the ocean. The first day we drove 10 hours to Jackson, Mississippi. We left at 3 am so we made it to the hotel by 1 and could swim and hang out. We were all in bed by 7 because we were all so exhausted. The next day we had 4 hours left and then the boys could see the beach. The only problem was the weather. It was rainy and cold the first two days we were there but we still went to the beach anyway.

Beckym and Cadynce did a lot of digging in the sand. We went to the beach every day and were there for more than 6 hours at a time. We would just pack a lunch and stay for the day.
Now it was Cadynce's turn to try. The water was a bit chilly for him but he wanted to try anyway.

I believe we all enjoyed this trip very much and will return soon. It was the perfect trip for us all!!
