State Tournament

Payton had the state tourney and they finished fourth overall out of 35 teams.  So they did well but we all know what could have been:( This year Payton started to do some catching and this particular weekend he played catcher most of the time.  It was only about 104 degrees out so it was very warm under all that padding.  I got a little carried away with my pictures but got some good shots.

While the new pitcher warmed up it was too hot to even leave your helmet on while on base.  These two are discussing the heat I'm sure.

Sporting KC

Cadynce and Scott were able to go to the Sporting KC game with some season ticket holders.  Cadynce and his friend Jack were asked to hold the flags on the field during the National Anthem.  They both had a lot of fun.

The Sluggers

This was Cadynce's second season with the Sluggers baseball team.  A lot of the kids are on his soccer team and his basketball team.  So they all know each other really well.

This year was Beckym's first year for baseball.  He was on a team with a bunch of kids from our street so he is having a lot of fun playing with friends.

Easter

Below is the annual Easter Egg hunt on our street.  Below is all the kids that were around to participate.  We were actually able to make it this year because Payton was done for the weekend with baseball.

After church and lunch we always have our own hunt in the backyard.
