Visit with relatives from Nashville

Beckym and I headed back to Iowa to visit our relatives that were in town from Nashville.  While we were there we also got together with Grandma and Grandpa Van Zante.  Here is Grandma Nettie reading a book to Beckym.

Beckym and Lake watching a movie together.

I think this picture looks like a Mercedes commercial:)

Lake getting ready to run into the pond just barely.

Nana and Beckym feeding the fish in their pond dog food. Nice boots!!

Josh and Lake trying to get a ball out of the water.

Lake chased me all around the pond while I was taking pictures.  Here he is just about to get me.

Beckym showing Kelvey the fish and frogs in the pond.

Stacey trying to get that perfect picture of Kinley.

I thought this was a cool picture of Beckym by the tree.

Beckym and Lake in the corn.

It was a little difficult to get all the kids in this picture.

Lake and Kelvey both thought they could eat the corn right out of the field.

Harper with her kitten at Brandyn and Emily's house.

Beckym got brave enough to hold a kitten too.

Josh on Nana's bike.  A little different from what he is used to.

Everyone wanting to help get supper ready.

How many Hawkeyes fans does it take to stir a salad.

Beckym took a break from eating to cheer for the Hawks.

After we ate it got a little crazy.  Here all the kids are trying to jump off the fireplace.

Ring-around the rosey.

Stacey really liked falling down.

Beckym again stopping to check out the game on TV.

Kinley was nice and snuggled with me.

Beckym didn't really like sharing his momma so he had to sit on me as well.

Then there was a game of hide-and-seek.

Counting behind the chair.

Beckym is looking for Joyce who was the designated hider.

They finally found her.

Beckym wanted to wear Kelvey and Kinley's hair bows.

Settling down and reading a book before everyone went home to bed.

  1. My goodness what GREAT shots of everything. you got a lot of candid and posed shots, not more professional pix for me. i llike these much better! This is much more fun than doing statements, I'm taking a break, ha.
